The fourth BMS Alliance webinar, hosted by the NEXTBMS project on 18 June, brought together experts from BATMAX, ENERGETIC, NEMO, and NEXTBMS to explore the latest innovations shaping the future of Battery Management Systems (BMS).
Representing the BATMAX Project, Stefan Waldhör (Fraunhofer IISB) shared insights into advanced battery management technologies alongside experts from the alliance.
The webinar covered key topics including:

- Embedded edge computing
- EIS-based battery state estimation
- Cloud-supported battery management systems
The event concluded with an engaging panel discussion on emerging BMS developments, future challenges, and the value of collaboration in advancing Europe’s battery ecosystem.
